I'm Shannon Grimes Orozco an American artist with a studio in Washington State and one being built in beautiful Mexico.  My inspiration comes from the incredible colors and shapes found in the natural world, my talented husband whose music fills these rooms and my heart, and my cat who is queen of the house. As a professional artist I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, oils, watercolors, pencils and pastels. Each art piece manifests in its own individual style, Canvas art for Oils and Acrylics, Cold press paper for Watercolors, pencils and pastels, I prefer working with live models and open landscapes but can also create beautiful portraits, landscapes and fine arts using reference photographs.
